How do I choose books to review?
Right now, I'm only reviewing ARC books I receive through
NetGalley.com or recently published books that I've purchased for my YA
Collections at the library. I would happily talk to authors and
publishers about reviewing specific titles, though, so long as the book
could ultimately be purchased for either collection.
What format(s) so I read?
I do not have a format preference. I will happily read books in print or digital forms.
What genres and reading levels do I read?
I maintain two collections; a "Tween" collection geared
towards students in 6th through 8th grade and a "Teen" collection for
students in 9th through 12th grade. I purchase print and audio books from every
conceivable genre that can be found in YA and Middle Grade books. I do my best to cover all genres despite my personal interests. For example, I
personally prefer realistic fiction over dystopian fiction, but since
I'm not just buying for my tastes I will (and should!) read almost
everything so long as it can be classified as Young Adult or Middle
Grade.
I'm also interested in non-fiction and memoir geared towards YA & MG.

What won't you read or review?
Although I am a huge supporter of self-published authors, I can only review books that can be added to the library collections. Due to this, I will not be reviewing self-published titles.

What do you include in your reviews?
Each review contains the following:
- Title (including an image of the cover)
- Author (including a link to the author's website)
- Publisher
- Number of Pages
- Brief Summary (Spoiler free!)
- Review (including genre)
- Rating (the rating will correspond to thee number of stars I award on Goodreads.)
Where else can I read your reviews?
I post links to my reviews on Goodreads. I tweet links to new reviews and sometimes post reviews to the library website in the "Teen Blog" section.
